Walter Granger 1872 - 1941



Walter Granger was a vertebrate palaeontologist [fossil hunter] who spent the majority of his professional career working at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, USA.  Granger was head palaeontologist, and second in command of the Central Asiatic Expeditions, responsible for many of the most significant fossil discoveries.  A website dedicated to Granger and his wife Anna can be found at:
